Good morning Shark families,

We are just 54 days away from the first practice!! I am so excited!! We have a lot of new families joining us this season, and I can’t wait to meet you all!

Here are a few reminders and updates for this season.

19 year olds can swim!!! Due to only 30 of over 120 teams in the Atlanta Swimming Association participating in the 2020 season, they have approved for 19 year olds to join this year in order to let them have a final summer league season. Please pass this along to any college student you think may want to swim again this year!

Registration is open for all and filling up quickly! We already have almost 100 swimmers registered for the team! All age groups have a registration limit so that we can have a safe season and properly distance swimmers. Make sure you don’t procrastinate to register as some of the age groups are more than half full.

Make sure you register with the City of Alpharetta AND SwimTopia. Your spot on the team will not be reserved unless you have completed both registrations. We plan to only do virtual meets this season. We will swim against other teams, post results, and have ribbons. We will not swim against other teams in the same pool. The hope is that we can have parents on deck for the meets this year. We are working out logistics and volunteer opportunities that will open up once registration ends.

Is anyone experienced in running a live feed?? We are looking for a parent volunteer who is willing to use their own device and data to run a live feed for the team. The pool does not have Wi-Fi that can be used. You will automatically have deck access for all of the swim meets!! Send me an e-mail if you are interested.
